Fuel oil is a product made from cracked residual oil and straight-run residual oil of petroleum. According to the processing process, fuel oil is also called heavy oil, which can be divided into normal pressure heavy oil, vacuum heavy oil, catalytic heavy oil and mixed heavy oil. Atmospheric heavy oil refers to the heavy oil fractionated from catalytic and cracking units of refineries (commonly known as oil slurry). Mixed heavy oil generally refers to the mixture of vacuum heavy oil and catalytic heavy oil, including the mixture of residual oil, catalytic oil slurry and part of the asphalt.

Main application:

1, the power industry fuel oil consumption is mainly used for fuel power generation, heating units, coal-fired units ignition, combustion and stable fuel oil.

2, the fuel oil consumed by the steel industry is mainly used in heating furnaces, self-provided power plants, heating and refractory materials.

3, the fuel oil consumed by the building materials industry is mainly used for the production of flat glass and building sanitary ceramics, with the improvement of product quality requirements, some high-grade product production will gradually turn to natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas as fuel.

4, the use of fuel oil in the petrochemical industry is mainly in the power generation of self-provided power plants, domestic heating in oil fields, heat for refinery production processes, raw materials and fuels for fertilizer plant production and other chemical production.
