Gasoline is a volatile, combustible mixture of
hydrocarbons that is fractionated and cracked from petroleum and can be used as
fuel. The appearance is transparent liquid, flammable, the distillation range
is 30℃ to 220℃, the main components are C5 ~ C12
aliphatic hydrocarbons and cycloalkanes, and a certain amount of aromatic
hydrocarbons.
The important characteristics of gasoline are
evaporation, stability, anti-explosion, corrosion and cleanliness.
Gasoline is one of the most used light petroleum products and is an important fuel for engines. Gasoline is mainly used as a power fuel for transportation vehicles. Gasoline is used as solvent in rubber, paint, dye, printing, pharmaceutical, adhesive and other industries. The cleaning and decontamination of machine parts and clothing and the pre-treatment of electroplating products use gasoline as a degreaser.
